Men, unlike woman, are often times easy to determine when speaking of what they are thinking. The truth is, women usually over estimate what they are thinking. I know that sounds bad, but I truly believe that men are more simplistic in thought than women- I feel we were just built that way. 

Guys Hate to Fight

Instead of fighting, guys would like to find a compromise on something. In general, guys really do not like drama or thrive off of it as some women do. They just simply do not want to deal with it. 

A Guy Listens the most When You Speak Softly

This is a funny one because in just about every relationship I have seen, the woman does a lot of yelling. Many people (especially guys) just write it off as being “that time of the month” or as “just being a bitch”. Sometimes I think it is because we as women do not have volume control all the time and let our emotions get the best of us- even if over something silly. The point is, as a woman’s volume goes up, the man’s ears close off. The softer you speak, the more intently he listens. 

Why He Doesn’t Say I Love You Very Often

Funny thing is, men do not feel they have to say I love you as often as women do. They figured that they said it once and that is good enough. Do not take it to heart if your man does not say I love you every day. 

Most all Men Want a Woman That Will Stand up to them

The idea that women are the shadow of their male counterpart is long in the past. Now I am not saying overshadow your man, but take part as being an equal. A man wants a strong woman and to know that she will be OK, whether she is with him or not. This lets men feel as though you are contributing as well as someone they can confide in. After all, they do not want to confide in a weak person who cannot even stand their ground to them. 

Ask Men for Advice

In this time women are very independent and often times do not want the advice from anyone, whether they are male or female. Asking your man for advice on certain matters is a sign of respect and shows him that you value his opinion and trust him as well. 

Men Utilize the 10 Second Rule

Men are the biggest users of the 10 second.10 minute rule. This means that when they are upset, they will usually back off from something and cool down first. Of course you have your hot heads- and every man can be one from time to time- but the general rule is that men need that time to cool off and they realize it. Woman, however, usually keep pressing the matter and make it worse. Learn to respect his “getaway” time. Please note: the “getaway” time should not be mistaken for complete avoidance of an issue.
