What are Boy Shorts?

Boy shorts are a form of a panty. They are very different among the panty choices and deserve an extra look. Unlike a thong or a bikini panty, these combine the best attributes of both. I boy short typically has quite a bit of coverage, as does a bikini; the only different is, they are designed like a very short pair of short, also described as hot pants, and shows a little of the backside.

In some forms of boy shorts, they raise up the back more and label it as a tanga panty. In essence, this is just a more revealing boy short. They even raise it up a bit further, more to look like a thong with little coverage on the buttocks, yet still material there.

Many women wear these panties to bed along with a camisole top. This is typical because the set is very comfortable, and after all, that is the goal at night when you are trying to sleep. Women prefer to wear thongs because they do not show when they are wearing pants. This is especially true when they are wearing tight pants or skinny jeans. In reference to jeans, the term “whale tail” is given when a women bends down and her thong shows out the back of her low rise jeans.

Briefs and Bikinis

In general, briefs and bikinis are not as common anymore. Many women still wear them and usually are middle aged. There are however, good times when a pair of briefs or bikini style underwear is definitely appropriate. Women who have not transitioned to the thong panty can never see how that can be comfortable, and choose to stick to the typically cotton brief they have always worn. This is comfortable to them because they are used to it. Many women that have transitioned to the thong and wore briefs or bikinis before would never go back. They would tend to say the briefs are too bulky and bunch up; which in turn create unsightly lines and creases.

Brief underwear has been around for a long time and will remain around for a long time to come. It is very secure underwear in which some people such as diabetics must wear. It is also especially useful when there are medical problems and other undergarments are necessary to wear.
