Myriad Lingerie

Scam and More Scams: Doxy Lingerie Owner at it Again

If you have read my introduction to lingerie scams in my first article, you will understand what we are talking about in this one. Doxy Lingerie (www.doxylingerie.com) was a site oDoxy Lingerie picturewned by a lady named Jennifer Lutke. Yes, that is right, I said “was”. This is because Doxlingerie.com no longer exists. After many reports of fraudulent and unresolved activity, the doors were finally closed on this ill-leigitment lingerie site. Or were they?

As I was searching around for some lingerie news to keep my readers updated, I noticed it looks like she is “back in business”, but with a different name for her lingerie site. Before I started digging deeper, I went to the doxy site; it shows up as eLingeriesite.com. Hmmm…

So here is the low down of what I can figure out:

1. Upon first impression, the site eLingerie.com is very similar to the Doxy site. I “went back in time” and found an old screen shot of doxy.com main page. I have posted both to compare. Also, you will notice the lingerie article pieces that look like sketches on the main page of doxy.com. You can find these same items in the “clearance” section of elingerie.com. Coincidence? Maybe…
2. Some reports read, and cautioned by the BBB (Better Business Bureau), claim that BadGirlIntimates.com is also her site she opened. After further research, this is true.

Address associated with both sites is:

11469 Olive Blvd, Ste 134
Creve Coeur, MO. 63141-7108
US

I did notice that on the Bad Girl Intimates site, it did have “DBA MAJEK Outfitters”.
Being the business minded person I am, I started thinking about the DBA (Doing Business As). They put that there for a reason. I hoped on the MO secretary of state site and looked up MAJEK Outfitters. Funny thing is, I found two fictitious name filings. One was filed 4-2-09 with 50% of the company to Mark Freed and the elingeriesite pictureother 50% to Mark Reynolds (shown as president on the document); they did it under the Olive Blvd. address. Then, on 4-8-09, they filed a fictitious name (same name) for just Kevin Freed at 100% of shares. They did this on an IL address. On the 4-8-09 document it shows Kevin Freed as President.

To sum it up, they have made it a legal “entity” where they are not “personally responsible” for any mishaps, the company or “entity” would be. With a past history of scams and rip-offs, this seems very shady and looks like they are trying to cover up their tracks. Fortunately enough, business records are public and accessible.

Jennifer Lutke Reynolds (remember that last name?), has had a serious problem in the past with getting money out of people and not giving anything in return. I would definitely back the BBB in their decision to warn people away from placing orders with this company.
