The Whale Tail!

Some of you are probably thinking I have lost it, but I will explain to you what I mean. Have you ever been out somewhere and noticed a little something sticking out of the top of a girls pants? Most of you will know what I mean; I am talking about a thong.

For a brief, and I mean very brief, moment, it was “cool” and “sexy” to have the top part of a thong showing. This would even include the side straps riding high. Of course, most of this was seen in more liberal lying areas; Florida for example. After a while people grasped the concept of “hey, this is actually really tacky”. Thank goodness it did not take long!

So why is it considered a whale tail? I am assuming most of you know what a thong is, but for those who do not: It is a panty that offers full coverage in the front with sides that consist of a very thin strap. On the back, there is exposure of most of the rear with just a triangle shaped material at the top. This triangle material looks like a “whale tail” coming out of the water, when in fact it is just a woman who can’t keep her panties in check.

Now I am not saying that all women do this on purpose. I can personally vouch for that. For the most part, we have all pretty much caught ourselves pulling up our pants because our backside is being exposed. Don’t worry; it happens to the best of us!

For anyone who still might be sporting the “whale tail”, it is not “sexy” or “cool”. More often than not, you will attract the wrong type of attention and moreover be labeled something you might not be. The only status you will be achieving is “insert derogatory word”.
